HEMP PRODUCTS & PRODUCTION: AN ADDITIONAL EFFECTIVE WAY TO ADDRESS ECONOMIC ISSUES IN THE U.S.???

(REPRINTED with PERMISSION)

HELLO FAMILY!

In light of the current economic situation in the U.S. and abroad, there have been various solutions offered to cut the hemorraging of jobs and homes being lost, pensions being depleted, the homeless population increasing daily, etc. President Obama and The New Administration are addressing those issues and the $787 Billion STIMULUS PLAN aka Economic Recovery Plan is about to be signed by The President today in Denver, CO. We also have an opportunity to boldly step out for even more "REAL CHANGE"...

We could write our local, state and federal representatives and URGE them to REPEAL the MARIJUANA TAX STAMP ACT in an attempt to decriminalize the plant DEA calls a drug. Once the repeal is achieved, we can begin to deal with the valuable asset of INDUSTRIAL HEMP as an alternative to address our current and future economic issues. Canada is way ahead of us as the HEMP PRODUCTION CAPITAL of the world. So we can rebuild and/or renovate some of our crumbling plants and those recently-closed plants.

We could radically boost our economy with biogradeable products, address the green environmental concerns, and manufacture products right here at home without the threat of having the jobs shipped overseas. There are many products currently being made and others yet to be developed. Some of these products include: paper, wallets, bags, backpacks, dog leashes, pet supplies, hemp food, hats & beanies, gloves, coffee, beauty aids, baking products, business cards, hemp seed & oil, and countless others.

Industrial hemp is an incredible resource. Hemp is harvested for its fibers for hemp clothing and seeds for hemp oil. With a relatively short growth cycle of 100-120 days, it is an efficient and economical crop for farmers to grow, however, industrial hemp cannot be commercially grown in the United States because it is erroneously confounded with marijuana. In fact, industrial hemp and marijuana are different breeds of Cannabis sativa. Smoking large amounts of hemp flowers can produce a headache but not a high!

The reemergence of hemp is slowly but steadily progressing within the United States. Due to the similar leaf shape, hemp is frequently confused with marijuana. Although both plants are from the species cannabis sativa, hemp contains virtually no THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) (less than .3%), the active ingredient in marijuana. Industrial hemp has no illicit uses, it is the equivalent of non-alcoholic beer.

The most commonly seen modern hemp product is clothing. Hemp clothing is warmer, softer, more absorbent, extremely breathable and significantly longer lasting than clothing made from cotton. It is nice to have clothing that looks like linen, feels like flannel, and wears two to three times longer than other fabrics, but this is just the beginning.

The seeds are an excellent nutritional source that can provide quality fats and proteins. The hemp seed oil is utilized for its healing qualities in many salves and cosmetics but can also be used to create paint, varnishes, lubricants, and much more.

Medical studies have documented over the centuries that 100% Pure Cold Pressed Hemp Seed Oil has become the product of the century in addressing some of our nutritional deficiencies.

Hemp Oil has been dubbed "Natures Most Perfectly Balanced Oil in the Plant Kingdom" due to the fact that it contains the perfectly balanced Omega 6: Omega 3 ratio of 3:1 which is deemed optimum for long term human consumption.

Natures Perfect Oil can offer you a complete, natural, pure, easy to digest, Essential Fatty Acid that can simplify your EFA requirements and offer you an affordable choice as well. The oil is produced free of herbicides or pesticides, and cold pressed in an inert light and oxygen free environment to protect our delicate oil and insure fresh HIGH quality oil you can trust.

The high fiber content of hemp makes it a natural resource for building materials, papermaking, and even biodegradable plastics. Hemp is a presently viable environmentally sound energy source.

So in summary, if you think this is a viable and worthy additional solution in concert with the Economic Recovery Plan, then please WRITE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES TODAY and URGE them to begin serious discussion on serious radical changes to the old mindsets of yesteryears...and come to 21st century thinking and ideology. HEMP is already the wave of the future as It has been in the past. For more info, please visit www.hemp.com for further review.

So although some in the Republican Party and a few in the Democratic Party are having reservations with the Economic Recovery Plan, let's support President Obama and not continue to be left behind holding the 8-Ball when it comes to creative, proven methods and practices we KNOW will work. Thanks for your support and let me know what you think?!?
