HAWKFilmz invites you to a special screening of the gritty hip-hop drama “When Thugs Cry”' written, directed and produced by Parris Reaves.  This film enmeshes the harsh urban landscape of Chicago, struggles of fame, sibling rivalry and a mother's roller coaster drug addicted path. Two brothers, rapper Jah-Rista and music producer Soundmaster-T, star in this drama about a pair of Alabaman brothers who struggle to follow their dreams of fame for rap-stardom in the world of Hip-Hop.
