Minor setback! I am supposed to be starting both the BODY FOR LIFE and BILL PHILLIP'S TRANSFORMATION Challenges on Monday, February 9, 2009!

However, I had an alleged Chicago based Personal Trainer who turned out to be extremely unprofessional, unreliable and untrustworthy!

I had to quickly regroup and backtrack to a professional trainer whom I trust explicitly! Worked with him BRIEFLY in 2007! He's based out of Memphis, TN! However, he is extremely well known throughout the bodybuilding circuit, 100% reputable and trains the pro athlete bodybuilder competitors working with "A" list clients in the NPC, and IFBB! I am both lucky and proud to have him as my Personal matter the distance between us! I wasn't as focused or driven when he and I first met and am lucky that he remembered me and wants to work with me! His name is Cliff Bomar aka Rolex of HardBodies International!

Because of Cliff, I have my meal/nutrition plan, my list of supplements and he's getting me my workout regimen! The other part of my delay in starting the challenges is waiting on my shipment of supplements to arrive! It is going to take 3-8 days for delivery via UPS and I just placed the order today! Remember, Cliff and I reconnected today (Friday, February 6, 2009). I could kick myself, but, I'd probably pull a muscle! LOL The only reason why I didn't reach back out to Cliff was because of the distance. I was hoping to find a Personal Trainer who was reasonable and local so that I could physically train with that person at least once per week. Well, after some of the ridiculously high quotes that I've been given by Personal Trainers and then the fiasco with the one I am going to pursue in court, I am going to work with Cliff Bomar and relocate to Memphis, TN, if it comes down to that and I'm dead serious! If that is what its going to take, I'll relocate in a heartbeat, but, I'm going to see if he and I can make a go of it with the distance between us! I think that with his tenure as a pro trainer and my drive, I think that the probability of he and I making this coach/client relationship work is EXCELLENT!

Finally, I will be journaling online and hopefully video blogging frequently, on a number of different sites! However, the primary sites where all of this will take place are, but, not limited to the following:

Okay, Dean! Let me see if I can be of assistance to you!

1. DIETS don't work! They can provide temporary relief to a momentary situation, but, not good for the long haul. We all have to change our mindsets about how we view food and our bodies. We wouldn't pump water into the gas tank of our vehicles because of its harmful effects, but, we continue to put bad things into our bodies...even when we know that they are bad.

2. Creating a more nutritious daily meal plan, that includes between meal snacks, could help both our bodies and our pockets.

3. Keep a journal and WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING that you consume (food, snacks and beverages) and then go back and take a look at your list at the end of each week. There is something about actually seeing what you've been putting into your body, not to mention what you've been spending your money on.

I feel ya though, but, we each have to get to "THAT" point within ourselves when we mentally and emotionally say, "ENOUGH", Like J Lo in her movie "ENOUGH"! Ha, ha, ha! That is where I'm at right now! Snacks aren't my weakness, but, food is! Those shelf items that help to curb your appetite! DON'T WORK ON PEOPLE LIKE ME because I don't always eat because I'm hungry! I don't have to be hungry to enjoy a couple of deep dish slices of Giordano's Pizza with sausage, pepperoni, fresh garlic and tomatos and who ever eats ROCKY ROAD ice cream because they're hungry? Please! Stick with me and this group! I'm blogging all over the Internet! Folks will see my transformation, from the inside out, all across this nation and they will see my struggle, but, they will also see my successes and as the saying goes, if this 45 year old, 224 lb mother of three (3) children can do it, ANYBODY CAN and I'm going to show everyone just how I did it! JOIN ME, PLEASE!

Hello bean soup. Ok I'm trying it again. I've been trying to eat better for a long time. Like most or maybe some of us I keep buying snacks at the store. I say i'm only gonna eat a little but I don't. I do buy fruits veggs but not enought. I never did like diets but now i'm trying to be more active & watch what I eat. It took me a long time to gain my pounds so with God's help i'll try my best to lost it. Much love to u all.

It's getting closer to count down time for me guys! I'm hoping to have all of you on board, WORKING IT OUT, right along with me! Have just connected with a Chicago area Personal Trainer who is going to put together for me my six (6) day workout regimen and my daily nutrition and meal plan in addition to working with me one day per week. I'll simply follow all of his instructions, to the letter, the remaining 5 days per week. It's all that I can afford right now. BALLY'S TOTAL FITNESS will be the gym that I utilize for the next 12-18 weeks! Remember, I'm kicking off the BODY FOR LIFE 12 WEEK CHALLENGE and BILL PHILLIP'S TRANSFORMATION 18 WEEK CHALLENGE on Monday, February 9, 2009!

1. Lie face-down on the machine and place the back of your heels underneath the roller pads.
2. Slowly curl your heels toward your buttocks until the roller pads almost touch your buttocks.
3. Slowly return your heels to their initial position without locking your knees to complete one repetition.
4. Your hips should remain in contact with the machine when performing this exercise.
